Topic #1--Where can I buy/get coupons?

First things first, we can't go shopping with coupons if we don't have any, can we? So where can we buy/get them?

Coupons come in Sunday papers. You can buy them at 7-11, gas stations, Dollar Store, CVS, Walgreens, Rite Aid and newspaper stands. Newspapers are $2.00.

Other places you can get coupons are:

*From neighbors, family or friends - Ask people if they use their coupons. If they don't use them, just ask if it's okay if you can have them.

*Dumpster diving - I know this sounds gross, but it's actually not. It's just what we call it. Dumpster diving is just going to your nearest recycling center and asking them if it's okay that you look for coupons. They usually let you.

*Printable coupons - Websites that you can print coupons for free are at Coupons.com, Redplum.com and Smartsource.com.

*Magazines - Theres a magazine called "All You Magazine". They have $100+ worth of coupons every month.

*Peelies - You can find these one products.

If you have any questions or if you know where else to buy/get coupons, feel free to let us know. :-)

--------------

Quick heads up on Suave lotion

Just a quick heads up for you guys.
At Walgreens Suave lotion is on sale for $3.00, when you buy two you will get 2,000 balance rewards. To make this deal even better, we have $2.00/1 Suave lotion MFR coupons in our RP 10/14 (Exp. 11/11)

2x Suave lotions - $3.00 ($6.00)
Total before coupons - $6.00

2x $2.00/1 Suave lotion 18 oz or larger (RP 10/14)(-$4.00)

** I also got 2,000 balance rewards added onto my card, making these essentially free or $0.36 for tax. :)

I must also add that on the coupon it says maximum of two identical coupons allowed in the same shopping trip. Just letting you know so that you don't have any problems at the register. I was all excited when I was about to leave my house, I was planning on picking up four. I'm just glad I read the bottom of the coupon before I left.

Happy couponing! :)

Jergens Natural Glow and Protect Review

Finally.. I am able to do a product review. I like to try products out for awhile before I tell people about it.

This is new by Jergens, it's the natural glow and protect moisturizer. I purchased this during my 8/16/12 CVS couponing trip. When I went to buy this, the regular price was $9.99 and was on sale for $7.99.

My natural skin color is olive, but once it starts getting colder out my skin gets dry and makes my color look blah :/. Just after a week of using this my skin feels and looks AMAZING! I've gotten a nice, natural, deep olive color unlike with other products I tried that made my skin look fake.. ugh I hate that. This moisturizer gradually tans you so you don't get that fake color, which I absolutely LOOOVE!

All you need is a little bit to get the job done so it will last a long time. I started using this two months ago, I use it everyday after my shower and I still have a ton of it left.. I'm glad I bought two bottles. :)

What I like to do when I use lotions with tanners in it is to exfoliate my skin where I am going to be applying my lotion. I defiantly recommend doing this because it takes the dead skin off so you get a nice even color. Next, make sure your skin is completely dry before applying the lotion, once you apply it make sure you rub it in very good.. unless you're going for the orange zebra look. ;)

**WASH YOUR HANDS AS SOON AS YOU'RE DONE!
There have been a couple times when I was in a rush, I forgot to wash them and it took a couple days to get the orange color off.. It wasn't pretty. Make sure you wash good between your fingers too.

This product is also good for those who love a nice glow without having to go in the sun because they burn, skin conditions, etc. Well fear no more, two added bonuses to this product is you get a nice color and it has SPF 20 in it. I have never used SPF because I have never burned, but I would love to start this summer so I can keep my skin looking good. :)

I would defiantly recommend this lotion for all year round.. Love it!

If you have any questions, please feel free to comment and I would love to help you.

Couponing 10/16/12

Hey everyone!
I just want to share some of the deals I picked up today. There wasn't a whole lot going on this week for me, but I wanted to use my $10.00 ECB before it expired this week. I also want to share something with you guys that may help you guys out. I had Shopkick for awhile now but I never really used it.. UNTIL I went on it one day last week and seen that for one of the rewards is a CVS gift card so I got all up on that. I had already accumulated a good amount of points, I just never cashed out on any of the prizes. Turns out I had enough points to get $15.00 to spend at CVS. I recommend downloading the Shopkick app. To get points all you have to do is walk into stores with your app open, you can scan products to get more points and clicking on nearby stores. Let me know if you need any help/questions. :)

Couponing 9/30/12 and rant

Few things before I get into my transactions.

First, I am not too happy with Rite-Aid anymore. You can't use your +Ups that you get after your purchase in the same day, you have to wait until the next day, which doesn't make me a very happy couponer. I haven't heard about this change until I went in and the cashier told me as I was checking out, so I don't know if this is going on everywhere, just in my area or that one Rite-Aid.

Second, at CVS I had a rude cashier, I don't know why they can't just be happy people are saving money. I was on my third transaction, I added another set of Pantene shampoo and hairspray to my transaction and she put all of my products in bags so I just asked if I could double check my stuff to make sure I gave her all of my coupons. By this time my total should of been about $30.00 but I brought it down to around $5.00 and she had the nerve to tell me "The coupons you already gave me took enough off of your total, you don't need anymore taken off, you're already getting all of this for pretty much free". I had enough with people being rude to me about using coupons so I gave her a nice smile and said, "Yeah, thats what coupons are for, to save money. I'm using my coupons the way they should be, I am following your coupon policy and the policy that is on the coupons, theres no need to be rude." Then I just paid and left. People act like what we are doing is illegal, selfish, crazy, and i'm sure plenty of other things. Go ahead and call us crazy for getting all of our products for pretty much free, but we are most certainly doing it LEGALLY and i'm sure we are all far from selfish. I take care of my family and friends with all of the stuff I get and I also donate, as I'm sure other people that coupon do the same thing.. DON'T HATE ON COUPONERS!

CVS
I came into my transactions with a $4.00 ECB, $1.50 ECB and I stopped at the coupon machine and it gave me $2.00/2 Treseme products.

Total after coupons - $2.69 +tax= $5.31 OOP

Total for everything before coupons is $86.16, I only paid $10.81 OOP and I got back a $10.00 ECB on my last transaction so essentially I got all of these products for $0.81. Also, in the CVS paper is says if you spend $25.00 worth of P&G products listed below that you will get a $5.00 ECB and a $5.00 rebate. I didn't receive a $5.00 ECB and I for sure went over the limit. The wording on it made it sound like if you purchase any of the products listed below the sign, then it qualifies. I'm going to check that out and see what really is included in the deal.

I hope you all found some good deals. Leave a comment below if you have any questions or if you want to share your savings. :)
